School!

OMG school for this semester is more than halfway over! I can not believe that...This last year for me is going to go by so quickly haha YAY!!! Anyways, this semester had me freaked out at first but now that we are more than halfway...I can say it is NOT as bad as I had imagined! It is a lot of work but I am one that does work so early and so I have made it easy and less stressful on myself! Just thought I'd get on here to share! That's all that has happened lately!

This Past Weekend Was Amazing!

Okay, so this weekend was amazing and I definitely enjoyed the So You Think You Can Dance Tour! We went to Birraporetti's for my mom's birthday and that was fun and YUMMY! Then we rode the lightrail because my parents have never been on it and they enjoyed it haha. Then it was exciting when we got to Reliant Arena. I wanted a program and Mike was going to buy me one but I told him no because it was $25. So instead, he bought me a t-shirt!

So You Think You Can Dance Houston Tour

Okay so, my wonderful boyfriend is taking me and my parents to the So You Think You Can Dance tour in Houston on Saturday. I really wanted to go so he bought the tickets. Then at that time, I mentioned that my mom's birthday was the Tuesday after so he decided to take them too. Needless, to say this is an awesome time and I am getting so excited to go to it! Anyways, before the concert thing, we (dad, mom, me, mike, brother and wife) are going to eat at Birraporettis downtown for my mom's birthday! YUM YUM! Anyways, I will have pictures to post sometime soon!

Bubba's Wedding

Hey guys, I am glad to say that as of yesterday I officially have a married brother and a wonderful sister-in-law. The ceremony and reception went very good and was extremely exciting, emotional, and fun all at the same time.

Of course, I was one of the four bridesmaids so that was exciting. Right before the bridesmaids started walking out I was telling everyone how my mom was already boohooing and the ceremony wasn't even going yet. I didn't know that I would be crying less than 2 minutes later. I got halfway down the aisle and saw my brother and started boohooing just like my mom. I couldn't stop the whole ceremony...but don't worry that were HAPPY tears. My brother kept looking at me and I was trying to smile but it was impossible. Therefore, he started crying and tears were coming down his cheeks :( oops thanks to me haha. Jessica didn't cry at all which was surprising. After the ceremony, I was filled with excitement. I got out of the chapel and ran to my brother, still crying, and hugged him. He was still crying but it was a good day! Then my parents came out and they both broke down so we were all hugging having a family hug and crying fest lol.

We were all so excited and I have never seen my brother so happy.

At the reception, my brother had said beforehand that he was only dancing twice. One with Jess and one with my mom. I just randomly asked him though if he wanted to dance with me and he said yeah lets go. That made me happy...very very happy! Anyways, he ended up dancing with Jess twice, me once, and mom once. So a total of 4 times YAY!

Anyways, he was walking by and I grabbed his hand. He was like what? and smiled. I said "I love you" and he started laughing and said "I love you too". He has never told me that so that was exciting. When they were about to leave from the wedding, I hugged him bye and he kissed me on the cheek. OMG it was an extremely happy day.

My whole family kept asking when me and Mike were going to get married, which I thought was pretty funny. I should say that we will most likely be next because he caught the garder and I caught the bouquet. It was not rigged for me to catch it...I jumped up high to get it. It was kinda rigged for Mike...my brother told all the other boys if they caught it he was going to kick their a** because he wanted Mike to have it!

In Dallas!

Okay, so Mike still has not returned to Houston from his trip to Ohio. He was supposed to come home the day that Ike was going to hit so they sent him to Dallas. I was not so happy about this and I kept telling my parents and Mike that if he was still up here yesterday then I was coming.

Well guess what...Now they are saying that he won't be returning to Houston until Tuesday at the earliest. So I am up here from yesterday to Monday hanging out and spending time with him.

This trip has definitely made me have stronger feelings then before about our relationship, about Mike as a person, and about us getting married and spending the rest of our lives together. NO I WAS NOT HAVING DOUBTS....dont think that!

Anyways, I have met all of his coworkers and they are all extremely nice. We went out to Main Event last night and ate dinner at BW3's. It was an awesome night and we had so much fun playing laser tag and bowling. Tonight we are going out again but I dont know when!

Overall, this is a freakin awesome trip and I am glad that my parents didnt object to me coming up here. I would not have been able to wait any longer to see him.

Mike does have to be in Houston on Thursday night or Friday morning because the rehearsal dinner is Friday afternoon in Houston and the wedding is Saturday night. I am so excited that I will actually have a "SISTER-IN-LAW" :D

School Recently

School has been going great lately even though I have to wake up super early and be in school two days a week from 8am to 2pm but its not as bad as I thought it would be.

I have gotten a big headstart on assignments that will be due later on down the road so I am excited about that.

Then the most recent issue is Mike being in Ohio! It has been very hard to be away from him so long even though we dont see each other but on the weekends. Its hard because we cant text message as much or talk as much as we do when he is in Houston. I am totally looking forward to Friday when I pick him up from the airport! I cant wait to see him and this trip has totally shown me that I definitely want to marry him and spend the rest of my life with him and that he IS THE ONE for me!

First Day in the School!

Ok, so the first day of school in the actual elementary school went well!

We got there at 7:30 but didn't go inside until 7:45. When we went inside, the whole class went to the front office and had our name badges done. Oh and the picture turned out amazing of me and our badge's say we are "STAFF" :D How awesome is that?

So then we all followed the teacher to the classroom which is OUR classroom. It was a pretty good size classroom because it is where the real teachers have their faculty meetings.

We then had a little lecture by our teacher about how we weren't able to meet our kids today because the principal sent our teacher the list of classrooms we were able to go in late last night and so the teachers and weren't prepared and also because our teacher didn't have time to split us up :(

It's ok though. We had writing class today and did multi-genre presentations and took a tour of the school.

I made a few "NOTE TO SELF" today:
1) Do not wear high heels...feet will kill you!
2) bring a jacket...school is COLD!

Anyways, I got a kid that is in 4th grade!
Will meet them next Thursday!!!!

First Week of School!

So, the first week of school was kinda freaky. I was actually stressing out when the teachers were going over the syllabus.

The first weekend, I was hanging out with the boyfriend at his parents house because we were house sitting and dog sitting. Since he was at work and I had so much homework to do already, I just did it when he was taking calls or sleeping or anything.

Today, we went and swam at Bryan's apartment complex with Kourtney and Bryan. It was fun but both Mike and I were feeling pretty bad....think we got too much sun :(

Anyways, when we got back, we started doing some more laundry and I just sat down and started working on homework. He was taking a nap and then watching tv.

Needless to say, I got everything finished and I don't think it will be as bad this semester as the syllabus was looking like haha

School!

OMG This semester seems like it is going to be HELL! There is so many assignments and you cant really get a head start and start doing them because you have to be in a classroom with a mentor teacher and some children to actually do the lessons with!

The only good thing about this semester is that it means after this one is done I only have 2 MORE SEMESTERS until I graduate YAY!

I am one of those people that like to start things as soon as possible to make it where I am not as stressed out later on down the road but it looks like I wont be able ot do that this semester :(

On top of school being a hell of a semester, I am trying so hard to deal with not seeing my wonderful boyfriend everyday and let me tell you it is extremely difficult but at least I get to talk to him through text messages throughout the day and get to hear his voice at least a couple times a day.

This problem will also be fixed later down the road. We will get married and have a life together and then I will get to see him everyday....this is one thing that I am trying to patiently wait for but its difficult.

Anywho, just thought I'd update on how school went the first day and some other issues I am having!

Ready for School To Start!!!

OMG... I am so ready for school to start. I have never been so ready for classes to begin but I guess it is because this is the first semester in a LONG time that I only have class on Tuesday and Thursdays and can work on Monday and Wednesday (YAY for money). Not only do I only have two days a week of class but its different than all other semesters because I wont be sitting in classes listening to the teacher talk....I will be involved in an actual school full of children YAY!

Anyways, before school starts, there is another big exciting event for me that will happen on Saturday!!!
This event is Mike & I's big 3 year anniversary! I am so excited and would not trade him for anything. He is my world and I love him to death!
I just cant believe how fast the time has gone by for us but we are still going STRONG!!! and still have fun together no matter what we do at all times!

I love you babe....cant believe its been so long!

Today was a GREAT day!

Hey guys, today is the first day that I actually enjoyed being in Spring because my mom and I didnt argue. We went to Kohl's in Humble, then had to wait for Mike to get off for lunch. So while we were waiting, we went to Shoes Cents, DSW Shoes, and Michaels. After all those stores, we went to go eat with Mike which always makes me happy :D Anyways, it was a great day!!!

Babysitting Elliott!

Hey guys,

This past weekend Mike & I babysat his godson, Elliott, and it was an amazing weekend. The baby has always been so awesome and never a bad baby when we watched him.

Last time we watched him, he was 5 months old and his parents painted the baby's room.

This time, he was 7 months old and his parents painted both bathrooms.

Why do they always paint when we watch the baby? haha It's ok...They dont need to paint for us to take them. We are always willing to watch him if they need a break and we dont have anything to do that weekend! We absolutely love watching the baby because he is so adorable and such a good baby.

He didn't cry one time and he WAS teething this time! I was surprised....I thought he would have been cranky but he wasn't :D

SYTYCD Season 4

Hey guys!

Tonight is the end of So You Think You Can Dance Season 4! I hope Katee Shean wins but if she doesn't then I hope it is Joshua! I like the other dancers but I just hope one of those two win!

Oh by the way....
I can't express how awesome my boyfriend is. This is one of the first years that the tour for the show has come to Houston and my boyfriend busted his but and bought me tickets to see it!
He is going with me and my parents are also going (It's a birthday present for my mom)

I am totally in love and can not wait for the show!

Weather

Today's weather is sucking majorly. I hate when it rains because you cant do anything outside that is exciting and fun :( but who cares because my other half is coming to stay with me tonight YAY!!!!

I havent seen him since Sunday night and I am missing him like crazy! He gets off work at 3pm and then I will see him YAY!!!

Jess' Bridal Shower

Today my mom and I threw Jess a bridal shower. We ended up having about 25 people and it turned out really good. She got a lot of things that her and my brother wanted and she was extremely happy.

For an appetizer, we had cheeseball, crackers, fruit kabobs, and fruit dip.
For the meal, we had lasagna, salad, and garlic bread.
and For after the meal, we had yummy cake!

We ate, played games such as bridal bingo, unscramble the word, and guess the kitchen gadgets, and opened presents!

Overall, after all the hard work, it turned out extremely good, but I am glad its over so I can relax now!

Only 1 month and 24 days to the wedding :D

So ready to see him!!!

Well hello all, I am sitting at home with my mom watching SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE but I am missing my hunny bun like crazy. He is currently at an Astros game with his dad but its ok because I will see him tomorrow !!!! YAY! I love him sooooo much :D

Anyways, besides seeing him tomorrow, I will get to go see these two little girls that my neighbor babysits before they move away for good to New Hampshire. They will be terribly missed but hey at least my mom and I get to attend a little going away party for them.

We got Kylie, who is 4, a Hannah Montana barbie doll, a coloring/alphabet book, and two books that are magnetic for her to play with in the car.

We got Karissa, who is 1 1/2, a baby doll.

They will be missed by us and everyone else that knew them because they are the cutest little girls that aren't loved very well :(

I am so ready for tomorrow to come!

This cute little girl is Karissa, also known as Rissa Roo! My parents spoil her rotten!

This little girl is Kylie. She went through a very hard time is as sweet as a little girl can be!

Is he on call or is he working 24/7?

Ok, so Michael came home yesterday and he wasn't supposed to be "on call" or in other words have the company phone and laptop until today but instead he got it Thursday night all the way through Sunday night.

I don't think it is really "on call" like the company tells them it is because they are working 24 hours a day no matter what. The phone rang off the hook and Michael was in such a bad mood.

I hate this already because I only get to see him on the weekends and then they pull this crap on him! THE WEEKENDS ARE MY TIME!!!

But anywho, I think they should change the wording from "on call" to "working at all times"!

These two pictures were taken during a photoshoot that we did for my neighbor, so that she could have some pictures to put in her portfolio that she will use to get a job at Sears photography! These two were my favorite and you can tell by looking at them that I am absolutely in love with this boy and that he makes me extremely happy!
