Go Mathletes!
So today was the day when the Mathletes played a softball game versus the Physics team. We didn't win but oh well it was fun. I played short stop in the first, second, fifth and sixth inning. The mathletes had a disadvantage because we were co-ed and the physics team were all boys. The final score was Physics 24 - Mathletes 11.
I liked the position of short stop because it gets a lot of plays but I don't like getting hit with balls. I will be highly bruised in a day or so. I got nailed with a ball in the arm, the hip, and the eye (at Friday's practice).
Don't worry, I don't have a black eye! LOL
I wish we were playing another game!

School....
I am so sick of school, it's not even funny. I wish I was graduating next month, but instead I have to wait until December. This semester has flown by so quickly, so hopefully, student teaching semester goes by fast! I will be student teaching in Tomball ISD, which is exciting! Anyways, I am bored in class right now but can't blog very long because the teacher keeps walking by .... I'll blog more later!

Grant's First Birthday Party!
On Friday, we went to Alvin to spend the night with Aimee and Gary. When we got there, we just talked and talked until time for bed. On Saturday, I woke up around 7:30am and ate breakfast with Aimee and Gary, but Mike didn't wake up until 8:30am. He woke up and ate breakfast, then we got dressed for the day!
We were supposed to take Grant with us so that Aimee and Gary could get things done before the party. So we went to eat lunch at Julia's and took the baby with us. After we ate, we needed to go to Walmart to run an errand for Aimee so while we were there, we decided to let the baby ride Dumbo for the first time and he loved it! After walmart, we went to the park to let the baby play for a little bit. He absolutely loved the park with slides, swings, and an abicus thing that he enjoyed alot. Anyways, after the park, Grant started to get cranky so we figured he was sleepy so we went back home. Aimee tried to put him down for a nap but it didn't go very successful. It took a while to get him to sleep.
Once he was sleeping, I helped Aimee do some cooking and preparing for the party.
All I know is that I was exhausted at the end of the day. But it was fun and I enjoyed every minute of it.

My Life Recently
Okay, so where do I start???
This past week has been horrible except for Monday...Every day I have had to get up extremely early compared to normal and it SUCKS!
On Monday, my mom and I met in Tomball and then we went to the outlet mall off of 290 to get my late birthday present, which was my Oakley sunglasses that I have wanted since Thanksgiving! They used to be $130.00 but they are being discontinued therefore they were half off. I was going to have to pay half but since they were half off I didnt have to pay anything....how awesome is that! After that we headed up to Huntsville. That night at 6pm, we went to my initiation ceremony for Kappa Delta Pi (the education honor sorority that I am now part of). It was a great accomplishment that I have worked my butt off for since my first year of college at North Harris Community College. I wish my daddy and Michael could have been there to celebrate with me but they both had to work :(
On Tuesday, my mom was still with me because she spent the night with me after my initiaion ceremony. We hung out until about 2pm when she went home. So Tuesday was fun for the beginning of the day but the afternoon and evening sucked.
On Wednesday, I had to wake up at 6:15am to leave the house by 6:30am to go to school. I had to be there from 7:30am to 11:30am to help work the Amazing Race for 7th grade. The Amazing Race is supposed to be like a field day to help students with TAKS!
On Thursday, I had to wake up at 6:00am to leave the house by 6:15am to go to school. I had to be there from 7:00am to 3:00pm because the Amazing Race for 6th grade was this day and we were supposed to help with it but since the weather was so bad their event has been rescheduled for next Wednesday, which just means we have another early morning!
Today, I took my practice PPR test and I guess we'll see how that goes. I then headed to Spring to hang out with my mom and eat lunch with her at Potbellys. After that, we went to the grocery store to get some stuff for my surprise that I am making Mike (a smores cake). Once we got home, I got my clean clothes and left to come back to Huntsville. I have been hanging out with Leigha and her boyfriend since I got home as well as cooking Mike's smores cake. Now it is time for me to start cooking a new recipe that I found online tonight for dinner. Its macaroni and cheese but different then normal. It looked good so I figured I would try it and I am proud of myself for cooking since I don't cook very often! My highlight today is seeing my other half! I hate waiting till Friday to see him but I know one day, I will get to see him everyday and I will be so excited about it!
Tomorrow is when I take my EC-4 Generalist test. Wish me luck!

Spring Break 2009
So, my Spring Break was very eventful and full of enjoyment. It started on Friday March 6 and ends on Tuesday March 17 only because I don't have school on Monday or Tuesday! Anyways, here is how my Spring Break played out!
On Friday March 6, Ashley, Duane, and I met Mike at work so we could leave for LaMarque. We were staying the night in LaMarque because Ashley and I had a middle school teacher conference to attend on Saturday. We ate dinner at Spaghetti Warehouse in Downtown Houston and then headed to the hotel and played dominoes.
On Saturday March 7, the boys dropped us off at the conference which was held at the Galveston Convention Center. While we were at the conference the boys hung out on the beach. They then came and got us for lunch, which we went and ate at The Spot. The conference was extremely fun and I can't wait to attend more! Anyways, on our way home we saw 5 Buc-ee's in one town. That's a little ridiculous. When we returned to Spring, we all chatted with my parents for a little bit then Ashley left to go to her mom's. After she left, we chatted for a little bit longer then Duane, Mike, and I headed to Norton's in Willowbrook. That night Duane spent the night with us in Magnolia.
On Sunday March 8, we went to Katy. I was so bored, that I did a lot of homework. The boys were working on Duane's truck!
On Monday March 9, Mike and I headed out on our trip to San Antonio. We stopped in Gruene, TX where we went to Gruene Hall so that Mike could have a beer, then we walked around and shopped in the Gruene Historic District. After we shopped, we ate dinner at the Gristmill River Restaurant and then went on a scenic drive to Canyon Lake. After this scenic drive, we decided to stop at the Best Western Hill Country Suites in San Antonio for the night.
On Tuesday March 10, we woke up and went to SeaWorld. We went and saw a lot of shows, which were amazing and then shopped around at SeaWorld, where I got a shirt! We were walking around SeaWorld towards the end of our journey there and I heard someone call my name. I turned around and it was the little high school girl that I tutored. They said that they were talking about how they liked my shorts and then the girl's aunt was like that looks like Robin. All they saw was my back side lol. Anyways, after we left there, we went and got Mike's hair cut at Sports Clips in San Antonio then decided to go eat dinner at Red Lobster. After eating dinner, we headed towards Fredericksburg, TX. On the way to Fredericksburg, we drove through Blanco to get to Luckenbach, TX, where we stopped for Mike to have another beer. That night we stayed at Super 8 in Fredericksburg. We got to the hotel around 7 and decided it was too early to just sit in the hotel, so we decided to go window shopping.
On Wednesday March 11, we went shopping in Fredericksburg, while it was raining and cold! After that we drove out to Chisolm Trail winery to find out that it was closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. How retarded is that? Anyways, we decided to go back to Fredericksburg to take some pictures. On the way into Fredericksburg, we stopped at Fredericksburg winery and ended up buying two bottles of wine and two wine glasses. We also got our winery passports! Anyways, we then headed towards Johnson City and on the way we stopped at the following winerys:
Grape Creek Vineyards (Fredericksburg, TX)
Becker Vineyards (Fredericksburg, TX)
Woodrose Winery (Stonewall, TX)
This was an extremely fun trip and it was even better being with the man I love. Thank god he decided to take off the whole week to be with me!
Anyways, today is just a relaxing day. We didn't get home until 10:30 pm yesterday so we are pretty exhausted. I am doing some more homework and he is playing xbox!
Tomorrow we are going to the DMV to take care of some business and then heading up to Huntsville to place a tshirt order. After that we are heading to Spring to cook some cornbread dinner and have family game night with my parents and brother and sister-in-law. And then on Saturday and Sunday, we get to see Aimee, Gary, and Baby Grant!

This weekend's Fun!
Well, I attended my very first middle school teacher's conference. It was held at the San Luis Convention Center in Galveston, TX. My friend Ashley and I went to the conference but Mike and Duane went with us to Galveston and they hung out together while we were busy. It was extremely fun and I will definitely look forward to going to more conferences like this.
I got a lot of free stuff and some awesome ideas. Some sessions were geared toward math while others were geared towards other school subjects.
Anyways, at least now I dont have to do one of my assignments for methods because I attended this conference while also having fun.
After the conference, we ate lunch with Duane and Mike and then went and hung out on the beach. Needless to say, we tried to buy sunscreen at a gas station on the west side of the island but what kind of store on an island with a beach doesnt sell this product? On that note, we all got burnt in the face but oh well we all had some major fun!
On our way home, we thought we would just take the bridge to surf side and go home 288 but we didnt know that most of the bridge was washed away from hurricane Ike. So on our journey home, we got to take a detour off the side of the road onto gravel that they laid down to be driven on as well as driving on the beach....which Mike's truck didnt agree with lol!
Oh well, we made it home and safe and now Mike and I are ready for Spring Break in San Antonio!

This sucks!
So, I woke up Sunday morning not being able to breathe. Needless to say, I am still not able to breathe and wish it will be over by next week, which happens to be Spring Break!
I ablsolutely hate feeling like crap!
Anywho, on Thursday, I have to teach my first lesson for a grade! Wish me luck! Hopefully I feel better by then but if not I hope it still goes good!

Eventful Week So Far!
On Monday morning, I got up and drove back to Huntsville from Magnolia. I was only home for about 3 hours before I talked to Amelia and she invited me over. So I packed up and drove to College Station. Man was it fun hanging out with Amelia and Elliott Monday and Tuesday. I came back home around 2:30pm and played wii fit!
Then today, I went to school and taught my first math lesson three times (3rd, 4th, and 5th period). It was so easy compared to what I was thinking. I was extremely nervous but not anymore. I am more comfortable and ready to do it again tomorrow!
I am starting to absolutely love 7th grade kids!!!!
Anyways, just thought I'd let you guys know about my accomplishment!

3 1/2 Wonderful Years!
So, tomorrow is Mike & I's three and a half year anniversary. YAY long time! Anyways, last night we got dressed up, me in a dress and him in the outfit that I love on him! We went out to dinner at Brio's Tuscan Grille in the Woodlands and ate a nice dinner with yummy food and even good dessert as well as enjoying each other's company. He is my everything and I love him so much. Can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him...Man I tell you time has gone by fast!!!

Valentine's Day Weekend!
This weekend Mike & I watched Baby Elliott. He is such a sweet little boy and we love him so much. On Friday, we picked him up around 8:45pm. He slept all the way to Huntsville, but then this diesel truck woke him up and he was not a happy camper. It took us about 30 minutes to get him to calm down and go back to bed. Then on Saturday morning, I had to be at SHSU around 7:30am so Mike would be getting the baby up, changing his clothes and diaper and then feeding him. Once he was done with that, he brought the baby up to campus for the rest of the day. The baby was amazing and everyone there was talking about how cute he was. This one lady even said that he looked so happy with his mom and I was quick to say "I'm not his mom!" lol. Anyways, that afternoon we had planned on going to the park and having a picnic but the rain storm came through so that didnt happen. Instead, the baby took a nap when we got home and then at 6pm we went out to eat at Margarita's and then went to Wal-mart. Once that was done, we came home and fed the baby. Then it was time for his favorite activity....BATH TIME! He loved it, but Mike and I were nervous because he kept sliding everywhere. Needless to say if you are going to give a baby a bath, you need the non-slip things on the bottom of the bathtub. We got him out, put a diaper on as well as his pajamas. Then we let him play and next was night night time. He cried for about 20 minutes but then was out the rest of the night. On Sunday morning, he woke up around 8:30am. I fed him, changed him, and then we started packing things up while he was playing. We left to take him back around 10am and then had lunch with Amelia and Kevin. Once that was done, we did a lot more driving. We left College Station, went to Magnolia, went to Spring, then back to Magnolia. Needless to say, we were exhausted and both went to sleep at 8pm last night!
It was a fun weekend!!!

Elliott and Amelia's Visit to Huntsville
OMG we had so much fun....us girls just talked and the baby just played. He is so cute. Here are some pictures to look at:
He is growing up so fast. OMG Amelia and Kevin were talking on the phone and Elliott was just walking up a storm. He kept going back and forth between me and Amelia. There is a video of it on YouTube. I can't wait until we get him for the weekend!!!

School is CRAZY!!!
OMG, so I have this assignment that is due (I dont know when) but I have to write 20 lesson plans with a partner. That means that I write 10 and she writes 10. This is bull crap....10 lesson plans is so much work! It just took me 2 1/2 hours to write four lesson plans and I am already sick of them.
I haven't even had a chance to do my reading for classes. I have just been busy working on these damn things but oh well hopefully they get finished soon.
I am looking forward to tomorrow. Amelia and Elliott are coming to Huntsville to spend the night with me. He is so adorable and I always love company from friends! Not only am I going to see him then, but Mike and I are going to be watching him two times in the next few months. One for Kevin's birthday and one for their anniversary (don't know which one yet because Kev says the church wedding and Amelia says the other so we will see) :D
I love little babies so much and I can't believe how much he has grown. I definitely will not be doing homework when they are there.
Not only have I been trying to keep up with school work, but I have also been very religious when working out with the wii fit. I love it and it is such a great workout! I definitely won't be cutting that out! lol

One for Kevin's birthday and one for their anniversary (don't know which one yet because Kev says the church wedding and Amelia says the other so we will see) :D
I love little babies so much and I can't believe how much he has grown. I definitely will not be doing homework when they are there.
Not only have I been trying to keep up with school work, but I have also been very religious when working out with the wii fit. I love it and it is such a great workout! I definitely won't be cutting that out! lol
Anyways,
just thought I would write a blog and let you guys know how my life has been going!
It has been very stressful, but the weekends I tend to be so relaxed because I spend lots of time with Mike. We are doing amazing and I love him with all my heart!

BEWARE!!!
Hey guys,
I knows its been a long time but recently I have been attacked by the stomach bug that is going around. It is definitely not fun :( and not only am I sick but Mike is sick with something else....grr! I hate being sick, but at least I got sick Monday and didn't have to go to school the next day!
Anyways, school is going great! I am just wanting to graduate now! Its right around the corner...YAY!!!

Already in 2009...
OMG I can't believe we are already in 2009...I will be graduating in December, Mike just turned 25 yesterday, I will be 23 in 19 days, Elliott will be 1 on the 18th, and Grant will be 1 on April 9th. So many good things are happening this year ... and Mike and I are doing as good as we could be! I love him and he means the world to me. I also have the best friends and the most wonderful family that any girl could dream of!
